Hilton's Conrad Rangali Island Resort (Maldives)

In late 2018, Rangali Island Resort opened what it called "the world's first underwater villa". Muraka seats nine people and is packed with luxurious touches to make your stay in the Maldives even more special. The two-level structure has a sunken low level 16 feet below sea level with a master suite, bathroom, and lounge. At the top, the gym, butler seat, security areas, second room, kitchen, bar, and rooftop provide all the comfort and relaxation your party needs for an unforgettable vacation.

Manta Resort (Zanzibar)

Located off Pemba Island in the Zanzibar Archipelago, Manta Resort is the definition of tropical luxury. The floating hotel offers stunning views of the Indian Ocean and the African coastline from above and a unique perspective of what is below in the sunken rooms. Atlantis the Palm (Dubai, UAE)

The underwater suites at Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai are true luxury experiences. The spacious suites are named after Poseidon and Neptune for the deities of the sea, and also feature 24-hour butler service. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows that allow you to view marine life from your bed are just one layer of icing on the cake. There is a man-made waterfall on-site and guests are encouraged to participate in water sports at the hotel's large sports center.

Jules’ Undersea Lodge (Key Largo, Florida)

Another, a cheaper option is aptly named Jules' Undersea Lodge, located off the coast of Florida near Puerto Rico, which is actually the oldest underwater hotel in the world. This former research facility is ideal for intrepid travelers who don't mind diving 21 feet underwater in the main lobby. Once inside, the comfortable rooms are ideal for couples and you can even order them from the head chef, who will come down to cook for you. Staying here will start at $ 675 a night.
